Now Christies laser projection is using 6 wavelengths instead of 3 (RGB). They also found the secret sauce solution (as Brennesholtz calls it). Where is the wonderful NASA JPL planetarium with Dr. Gurnett’s space sounds — the immersive “being there experience” in space?

Sony and Laser Light Engines (LLE) provided the first public demo of a speckle free laser illuminated cinema projector at NAB Technology Symposium on Cinema (TSC) (formerly known as Digital Cinema Summit) last month in Las Vegas, as reported by Chris Chinnock in the May Issue of LDR. This follows the private Barco demo last January, as discussed in Display Daily on February 8^th.
